This workshop focuses on the art of editing your music/sound. The editing process shapes the foundation of a polished, professional, and impactful sound that truly represents your music. From refining recordings to enhancing every detail, this essential step in sound production ensures your music/sound has clarity and power.
In this workshop we will explore advanced techniques in:

Shaping your sound for better mixing and mastering practises

Editing and fixing errors (such as timing, tuning, automation, volumes & more)

Preparing a song/track for mixing and mastering

This course is designed and delivered for all ages and levels of experience, specifically using the recording software Logic Pro and GarageBand (by Apple).
Note: Although this course is delivered utilising Logic Pro, many of the core parts and techniques in this presentation can be applied across to any DAW software, such as the PC based programs Ableton, Pro Tools, FL Studio, etc.

Michael Benhayon
Michael is a talented self-taught multi-instrumentalist musician with over 12 years of experience working in the music industry in sound production including recording, producing, mixing and mastering over 25 albums and composing volumes of music for film/TV, advertising, corporate videos and much more. Michael completed a bachelor’s degree with Honours in Contemporary Music later in his career writing studies about music and sound production methods and techniques. Michael's experience and expertise in sound production is extensive and with his practical approach makes him an exceptional presenter on the subject.
